Stan'sBarber Shop

A Bethel chair since 1992.

Stan hung his barber pole in Bethel in 1992 and has shown up for his customers every weekday since. Plenty of them have been sitting in his chair for decades.

Barbering runs in the family

Stan learned the trade from his father, Don Corp, who ran Don's Barber Shop in Upper Michigan and cut hair for 66 and a half years. Stan brought the same steady, old-school way of doing things north to Bethel.

Look around the shop and you'll see it: antique clippers and shaving brushes on the shelf, photos from over the years, tools hung on the wall, and a classic chair that has seen a lot of regulars.

Ask Stan what's happening around town. He probably already knows.
